Day 1: May 22, 2009: Green Gulch Farm »
Day 1 begins with a gathering at Green Gulch Farm for members of Branching Streams, a network of Dharma centers in the tradition of Suzuki Roshi. The agenda and topics of the morning meeting are limited to Branching Streams members, but guests are welcome as observers, and all are welcome to join us for lunch and the afternoon sessions. In the evening, we are offering a sit-down dinner at Greens specially created by Executive Chef Annie Somerville. Greens will be closed to serve only this evening's unique celebration. Day 2: May 23, 2009: City Center »
Day 2 starts at City Center with the Saturday morning program. The morning dharma event is titled "Why Did Suzuki Roshi Come to America?" After lunch, we will have storytelling with Masters of Ceremonies David Chadwick and Charlie Pokorny. Charlie will open the storytelling event with a performance of an original skit.
Day 3: May 24, 2009: Green Gulch Farm »
On Day 3, we will meet at Green Gulch Farm for the Sunday program. The morning dharma event is titled " APPROPRIATE RESPONSE: The Teaching of a Lifetime." In the afternoon, GGF will host a performance of "MONKEY: The Quest to the West," based on a novel written from an ancient Chinese folktale of a monk sent by the emperor to retrieve Buddhist scriptures from India.

| 1:30 PM | Panel: Turning the Wheel of Fundraising Led by Reverend Lisa Hoffman, Coach and Consultant to Non-profits. Lisa will lead the group in exercises and discussion on fundraising basics, proposing methods of relating the content of fundraising campaigns to the Dharma wisdom and experience of the participants and their groups. Cost: $20.00, pay at door |
| 3:30 PM | Panel: BEGINNERS MIND: Starting and Leading a New Center What is needed to lead and grow a new center? In this panel discussion, Branching Streams members will ask questions of former Abbot Zoketsu Norman Fischer (Everyday Zen) and current Abbot Myogen Steve Stucky (Dharma Eye Sangha).
